    Why Reusable Panty Liners?

    1. They are good for your body - conventional disposable pads can contain plastics, artificial fragrances, adhesives, and chemical gels - things you don't want next to one of the most sensitive parts of your body! Our panty liners are a treat on your body and won't harm it in any way.

    2. They are good for your budget - with our line of panty liners and sanitary pads, you'll have reliable menstrual protection for years to come. Most reusable pads are made to last for five years, but many women are saying that their pads have lasted much longer! These are a lot more economical and will save you a lot of money over your lifetime

    3. They are good for the planet - The average woman will use 12,000 to 16,000 disposable pads, panty-liners, and tampons in her lifetime. We're trying to bring that number down considerably, starting with women like you, that care, not only for her body but also our planet.

    You should get these if:

    • you want back-up for a menstrual cup or tampon

    • you have very light flow, including at the very beginning or end of your cycle

    • you want to wear everyday protection

    How to wash them:

    • Leave in cold water and soap/detergent overnight. Do NOT leave them in hot water as that will cause the pads to smell bad.
    • Wash them the next day as you normally wash any other piece of underwear.
    • They will look and feel brand new every time.

Make the better choice for you and the planet! Each pad replaces 125+ disposables.

      Product Features:

      • Materials: interior layer made of skin-friendly organic bamboo cotton and outer layer made of waterproof Eco-Friendly PUL

      • Super breathable materials

      • Ideal for spotting, daily wear or backup protection

      • Machine wash and dry

The Topsy Daisy 5-Point Customer Promise

Our pads are machine wash and dry friendly. Rinse in cold water prior to washing with your regular detergent. Our pads were made to fit into your regular laundry routine, so there’s no need for a fussy, complicated washing process. Just toss ‘em in the machine with your other laundry! As with all dark or brightly colored laundry - wash with like colors. Our pads should be completely dry before storing in a clean, dry place.

We recommend using natural laundry products where possible, to protect our environment, and because regular detergents can often contain hidden bleach or fabric softeners that can affect the performance of your new pads. Avoid the use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners, as this will decrease the performance and absorbency of our products and is harmful to the environment.

        A few cautionary notes:

If you choose to soak before washing, do not soak pads for longer than a few hours - pads left in soaking water for too long can encourage bacterial growth and mold.

It’s not our recommended method, but if you choose to hand wash your pads, be sure to rinse well, as detergent build-up can inhibit absorbency and lead to odor issues.

Avoid the use of Hydrogen Peroxide or Oxygen Brighteners. While these products can be excellent at removing blood stains, they are also harsh on natural fibers, causing the fabric around the snap to weaken.

Thank you so much for your purchase and for reaching out to us :)

Here are a couple of extra tips:

        • Do not iron your pads. The outer layer is made of PUL (polyurethane laminate) and it will either shrink causing your pad to come loose at the seams, or it will melt
        • Make sure you wash them at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees Celsius (that's around 100 Fahrenheit)
        • Soak in cold water as soon as possible AND gently rinse the majority of the blood into a sink/bath before putting in the washing machine.
        • You can also try adding some salt or baking soda + apple cider vinegar to the soaking water. You can soak them for a whole day if I you're not putting a wash on straight away. Just be sure to change the water if soaking longer than a day.
        • Be careful not to overload the washing machine, water needs to be able to circulate freely without fighting through lots of clothing.
        • Hang in the sun, sunlight bleaches stains
        • Some light staining is inevitable, if you're a heavy bleeder or you're not comfortable with the stains I would recommend using the darker skin facing fabric pads. Staining does not mean the pad is dirty.
